Projects Requiring Plan Review

Plan review is required for a wide variety of construction projects in Pueblo County. Below is a list of common projects that always require a plan review before a permit can be issued:

• New Residential Construction:

  • Single-family homes

  • Multi-family homes, apartments, and townhouses

• Commercial Projects (New and Existing):

  • All new commercial buildings

  • Commercial interior remodels and tenant finishes

  • Commercial additions

  • Commercial EV charging stations

  • Commercial swimming pools

• Specialty Projects:

  • Residential and Commercial Solar installations

  • Cell-tower modifications

  • Installation or removal of underground/above-ground storage tanks
